Nokinok in Puerto Princesa, Palawan

Food, you say? Aside from getting more for less, Palawan's specialty would definitely be the crocodile meat. I had to try it when I got to Kinabuchs.

Anyway if you're a little tight on the budget, you can always go to Nokinok in the middle of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

Total cost? 247 php. There should be another Iced Tea in the corner and something else which  I totally forgot now.

I am still unsure whether they were serving it with unlimited rice, but I can definitely assure you that their food is good and they won't skimp you on servings.

Corazon Tourist Inn: Palawan's Best Hotel in the Heart of the City

Okay, so I have to admit that after scouting 3 hotels, Corazon Tourist Inn was one of the best hotels I could find. Their rooms are cozy and their staff provided excellent service.

I was searching for a room that had reliable Wi-Fi access and this is the only hotel/inn that had it while still being in my price range (the single room I stayed in for 3 days cost 1,100 php/day since I didn't avail the breakfast package).

As you could see, all the sockets and light switches are conveniently located on the bed's headrest.

Location played a major role in making me decide to book this room in Corazon Tourist Inn. It was in the heart of the city and Nokinok as well as the drugstores, eateries and cafe (at the bottom of the hotel) were nearby.

For more details on my experience with this hotel/inn, feel free to read it at 8 Ways to Enjoy Your Business Trip to Palawan.

Baker's Hill in Puerto Princesa, Palawan

Here's another one of those Palawan posts. This is the famous Baker's Hill. I'm not really sure what their specialty is so I just decided to pick out one of everything and bring it as "pasalubong" when I went home.

What I love about Baker's Hill are the beautiful and artistic landscapes when you get into the center of it.

Baker's Hill Entrance at sunset. My camera doesn't do much to accentuate its beauty but it was quite wonderful inside.

I got to taste their Bandung tea (which cost about 55 php).

Just a picture of the many areas you can have your picture taken with the name Baker's Hill on it.

Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center

You have to check out the crocodiles in Palawan. Two of them are really huge. One in particular is named Valentino. ^^

We arrived at the Palawan Crocodile Farm a little over 5 PM. The guests were about to go home but we were luck enough to have one of their personnel give us a quick tour before they all close the cages and entrances.

The Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center is more famously known as the Palawan Crocodile Farm.

The Crocodile Farm is located along the road going to Baker's Hill and Mitra's Ranch.

Mitra's Ranch in Puerto Princesa, Palawan

Two weeks ago, I was at Palawan for an official business trip. I was in a time crunch so not a lot of sight seeing took place. Anyway, here's a picture of the beautiful Mitra's Ranch. It's a great place to go to when you only have a couple of hours to explore Palawan.

This ranch also goes by the name Rancho Sta. Monica or Sta. Monica Ranch.
